Thirty eight years ago on a cold night in Lincoln, NE (similar to tonight, but with less snow on the ground) a minister told me "You may kiss the bride". My plans for a nice dinner with Tania this evening have had to be postponed as she continues in recovery mode at Swedish Hospital. The temporary drain on the right side of her head was removed this afternoon. She is still sleeping much of the time, but we are hopeful that she will be released to return to her rehab schedule at Craig Hospital on Monday. Please continue to pray for healing.

ReplyDeleteThinking of you. Wishing you many lovely dinners together soon...Jim and Linda Stevens
ReplyDeleteyou will need to let me know when that dinner occurs so I can light the candles. If the story is correct, I kinda had problems lighting the candles 38 years ago. Something about a potential fire. I'm much more experienced now.
ReplyDeleteI was reading "Footprints" today and the final sentence was encouragment: During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you. God's promise is, he never will leave us or forsake us. Jeff
Rollie,
ReplyDeleteIt was good to see you Saturday. Hang in there, as God has more for Tania in the future. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. May God continue to give you strength and perseverence during the next several weeks of regaining. May he also continue to heal Tania in a powerful and swift way. Debby and Bill
