Car Ride

This afternoon Tara and I took Tania for a short car ride in the neighborhood near Craig Hospital. Shortly after Tania got transferred from her wheelchair to the passenger seat of the car, she closed her eyes for a while. Since she is still not very talkative, we could not understand why she was so relaxed until we realized that this was probably the most comfortable chair she had sat in for nearly four months. We took her through the McDonald's drive-in and split a hamburger and a chocolate shake. She was definitely alert during this portion of the car trip.
