Tania got her pass to leave the hospital to come home for Christmas!
Following a very nice prime rib and/or Cornish game hen Christmas dinner provided by Craig Hospital, I brought Tania home for about three hours this afternoon. Tania's older sister, Sonia, her husband, Eldon, and Tara joined us for the Christmas festivities. Yesterday I helped Eldon build a wheelchair ramp in our garage that made wheeling Tania into our home much easier. Tania enjoyed seeing photos, opening a few gifts, playing cards and "hanging out" at home. We plan to bring her back home again on Sunday afternoon when Ryan, Travis, Laycee and Saydie will be able to join us. Celebrating the birth of Jesus at home with my wife and family is certainly an answer to prayer.
