Dr. Prall phoned this evening to advise me that he plans to complete a procedure at approximately 3:00 pm tomorrow to adjust the shunt in Tania's brain so it does not cause her continued discomfort and also so it can be more effective in relieving the pressure from excess brain fluids. He said the procedure should only take approximately 20 minutes. He also said that he wants to monitor her temperature over night to determine tomorrow morning the optimum treatment plan.
