Although Dr. Prall was quite confidant last night that the shunt was positioned to relieve the pressure in Tania's brain, the CT-scan this morning did not confirm that feeling. The current plan is to monitor her through the weekend in ICU and hopefully move her to the long term acute care hospital early next week. If further adjustments need to be made in the placement of the shunt, the procedure to move it a third time will be completed over the weekend.
