Dr. Prall cut about 1 1/2 centimeters off of the shunt this evening. He completed the surgery around 6:30 pm. Tomorrow morning Tania will have another CT scan to see if the shunt is in the correct position to drain the excess fluid. If everything looks good, Tania may be released from ICU on Friday and transfered to Kindred Hospital for rehab. Thanks for your prayers for Tania's surgeries this week.

ReplyDeleteWe are presently visiting friends in Steamboat, Colo. We will be driving to Denver tomorrow and plan to try to stop and see you and Tania on our way through Denver/Littleton. We will phone tonight or tomorrow morning to make contact with you and see how things are going and where we can find Tania.
