The CT-scan this afternoon indicates that the shunt opening is correctly positioned in Tania'a right ventricle. The surgery started at approximately 8:30 this morning and was completed by 10:30. The two previous attempts to position the shunt in the left ventricle were unsuccessful. After three days of barely opening her eyes, Tania had her eyes open for the nurse and me this afternoon indicating that the brain fluid pressure was at a more comfortable level. My prayer for Tania today is Philippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!" Thanks for your prayers.
