In physical therapy this morning Tania was asked to put weight on the balls of her feet, lean forward then "pivot and turn" to sit on the therapy mat (the mat was elevated approximately 18 inches). After 30 minutes of PT she was asked to repeat the "pivot and turn" move in get back into the wheel chair. She is slowing gaining more strength to do the little things that I take for granted.
Ryan stayed for lunch at Craig Hospital today before he headed back up into the mountains toward Vail to work the next four days. Tania greeted him with a "Hi Ryan" when he arrived at the hospital. Tomorrow is a busy day for therapy, but on Thanksgiving Day there are no scheduled sessions.

Fabulous to read about Tania's tremendous progress! Like you said, it's all to easy to take the little things for granted. Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving, with exta thanks this year for Tania's continued recovery!
ReplyDeletep.s. It was great to see Tara last weekend! Fun to catch up with her and glad that she got a couple days of rest and relaxation.
