Tania spent Black Friday staying busy with her therapists. Shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving will have to wait until next year. Each of the therapists complemented Tania on her accomplishments for the week as they left the hospital last night. They also told her to rest this weekend as they planned to keep her busy next week.
When I arrived at the hospital mid morning today, Tania was in her wheelchair flipping through a magazine in a room with other patients who were watching television. She is now able to occasionally read a few words at a time. My brother, Keith and his wife, Nancy, joined us for lunch today in the hospital. Tania greeted them with a smile and a verbal "Hi".
Tara and I have determined that we will discontinue updating the blog on a daily basis as Tania is improving and our lives are filling up with work demands and other December activities. Thanks for your support and understanding.
